ArtWalk Extends to Waterfront with
Jazz
The Scottsdale Gallery Association is extending its live
music program through June at Scottsdale ArtWalk, a local
tradition on Thursday evenings for more than 30 years. In addition to
its ongoing street performer scene – you can always find “buskers”
playing on Scottsdale street corners – the galleries are launching
“Party After ArtWalk” with live jazz at the
SouthBridge Stetson Plaza stage until 11 pm on Thursdays.
The series is sponsored in part by the City of Scottsdale
and SouthBridge, the Downtown’s newest one-of-a
kind restaurant and retail district located on the south side of Arizona
Canal, just west of Scottsdale Road, which features nearby restaurants
and shops. Featured groups include Rob Popescu Trio,
Grant Ferguson Fusion, Paul-Eric
Melhus Trio, Jazz Kat and others. Dates and
details at ScottsdaleGalleries.com.
Seating for the jazz series is available at adjacent patio eateries and
nearby benches. In addition, underground public parking is available at
SouthBridge and at the nearby public parking structure between 3rd and
5th Avenues. To access a map of Downtown Scottsdale go to:

to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improving the quality of life
for those with the disease.
Guests attending Corks for the Cure can also partake in the Scottsdale
Artwalk, a showcase of outstanding art featured at the galleries along
Main Street, Marshall Way, and Stetson Plaza in the Arts District.
